The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Just to clarify, @CheerBear, the idea of the squishier the better only applies to knot cushions, right? It does NOT apply to CareBears or sea turtles!!! When it comes to CareBears and sea turtles, the LESS squished the better!!!

Sadly I am still not the owner of a knot cushion because there were not any knot cushions at the Big W I went to. Clearly I went to a not knot-cushion Big W! I will try to get to another Big W tomorrow. I have to say, the Big W I went to today did have lots of other cool cushions; fluffy ones, velvety ones, rough ones, squishy ones, firmer ones...obviously I know this because I touched every cushion in the store.

I will endeavour to squish-test knot cushions for my not friend tomorrow.

Ahhh @Phoenix_Rising I was patiently waiting to hear the verdict on the knot cushion, but will now have to practice my waiting skills for a bit longer

The highlight of my day today was watching two very hot and tired ones run wild under the sprinkler cooling off (their bodies and their tempers) wearing goggles. Very funny and very big thank you to the person who invented the trusty sprinkler!
