The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Hey @Shaz51 - hmm....well I did really enjoy waking up having a Good Hair Day....that's something I enjoy!!!

on a more serious note, I got a picture of a friend's little boy today, in his new school uniform. It was his first day of prep class!

I used to do private childcare for 25 years and one of (my Children ) who is adult now sent me a photo of her cuddling a sea horse

@Shaz51 thank you for the birthday wishes!! However, I've made a mistake...a big one actually and have been making the same mistake for the past 12 years...This morning a sneaking suspicion that my dog's birthday isn't actually the 2nd of Feb. Don't know why but something was telling me! So, I decided to call the vet and ask. Turns out it's the 12th of Feb but we have been celebrating it on the wrong day all this time! It felt wrong not celebrating it today, so we still did...he'll just get an extra celebration on his actual birthday haha oopsies!

The highlight of my day was the beautiful weather making a fishing trip with my partner a perfect day. I was a bit concerned about his current health issues but he was determined and we managed. We caught around a dozen, brought 6 home for dinner🎣😊
