I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂
For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!
Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂
Like Cheerbear, one of my highlights for today was receiving the tag to read this thread - Thank-you @Shaz51
Another highlight was throwing some party favours (glow stick thingies) & chocolates & lollies & nuts into the shopping trolley; for my Child & youngest Grandgirls birthday party, which is coming up really soon 🙂

Just looked it up @Catcakes .... Mum’s illness is on that spectrum, as is hyperextensive skin and joints, which we have as a family. Looks like this nail condition is as well (Koilonychia).
It’s a highlight for me that we have been relatively unaffected by it ..... 👍

Hi there @Shaz51 hmmm my highlight of today...it was probably when I took my 11 year old dog (he will be 12 tomorrow) for a walk in the sunshine without my phone or any distractions and listened to the Currowongs in my neighbourhood chatter away. It was lovely 🙂
Thanks for tagging me in this thread...what a nice way to end the day!

The highlight of my day is- Trying to rest while in terrible body pain, one of my Precious, Kitty child, (BearBear) sat on my tummy, & he purred softly, continually. This love & affection, made me smile, & eased some of the pain.
Love & Hugs!
Bella xo 🙂 <><<

Re: The Highlight of Your Day thread
The highlight of my day was going to a hydrotherapy session for rehab on my shoulder. I am booked into five physio run sessions at this stage and after that hopefully I can go to the local pool and continue there on my own.
Wanting to build up the range of motion and strength as quickly as possible and I think this will be instrumental in doing that.

Hi light of the day, hmm, well @Shaz51 my highlight was fixing the thermostat on my car. I am so not a mechanic, it made me so nervous, but I did it. So I am happy
