The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Hey @Shaz51, Highlight of the day was walking along the creek near my house with my best friend. It was sunny and I hadnt seen her for a while .

Ah @Shaz51 - sister-friend we crossed in posting... I am good. Yesterday I was sick with anxiety about what I was 'about to do" and today I have taken a leap of faith-in-myself and done it. (see above your post). I wrote about the worries here

ammmm mine was enjoying the afternoon from 3pm relaxing together on the front lawn after doing all the jobs we thought we would not do this week and we did them all -- yay

Hi @Shaz51... highlight was probably finding a jade bead necklace second hand for $1? I told the lady at the op shop that it was probably worth a lot more, but she was happy to sell it to me at that price anyway. I would have felt like I was cheating them if I hadn't said anything. I've got a green skirt in a similar shade, so it can be a contributor to me feeling dressed up when the occasion demands. I'm usually fairly casual.

I had a good chat with boss driving home from work last night @Shaz51 re highlights oh and niece msged me about squabble with sister. Well mother would have been at work and father is a away. Was chuffed she shared. I offered an ear and simple advice lol
