The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Rain unexpectedly came this afternoon, looking through the window, the plants looked very happy. After the weatherman promising rain since a few days ago, finally the heavens opened up! Made my day listening to the raindrops fall on the roof

The highlight of my day was (fingers crossed it is correct) finishing my first assignment for my course. Only about a million to go! lol

Hi @Holly24, that's a really nice highlight. I like the sound of rain too. Not so keen on storms, but love rain when it comes on its own. It's soothing.

Hi @Queenie, way to go on getting the assignment finished! I know how you were struggling with that one. One down shows that you can do more too now. But first, take some time out to celebrate.

Thanks @Holly24 @Catcakes @Mazarita. I am having the teacher proofread my assignment before pressing the submit button. I am kind of worried that I've gone off on several weird tangents here and there. My teacher said she'll take a look at it tomorrow if I into the college. We will be doing that because my Mrs has questions to see if she is on the right track and she has waaay different answers than me... biting nails I don't have to redo.
