The Highlight of Your Day thread

The highlight of my day was looking at the clock and realising there are less than three hours left in this day. Just think, if we were only 21 hours into a day on Venus, we would still have another 5811 hours until tomorrow. As it is, there are only three hours left. Happy New Day's Eve everybody.

I am superly duperly and unbelievably struggling at the moment. My body is reacting to the stress by sweating more than I would have thought it was possible for one person to sweat, and thus I've just had my second shower of the day. After my shower, I yet again sprayed about half a can of deodorant over myself. While doing this, I contemplated this puzzle; On the can, it says that the deodorant provides 48 hour anti-perspirant protection. Does this mean that it is marketed especially for people that only shower every second day???

I know, I know, small things really do amuse small minds. But contemplating this puzzle truly is the highlight of my day. It is making me giggle even though I am struggling so very badly. So...does anyone have an answer for me? Given we live in a society where the cultural norm is to shower every day, who is the target market for deodorants purported to work for 48 hours???

Ps. Oh and in case you are wondering, yep, it is false advertising. I had my shower about twenty minutes ago and now I am soaked in sweat yet again.

I had to laugh, @Phoenix_Rising because I have wondered the exact same thing! 😁 I have no idea what the answer is though.

(I also laughed at the small things/minds because … super herd. 🐐 Laughing/laugh-crying at the weirdness of the world is definitely one of my more user-friendly coping strategies.)

You super made me giggle @Faith-and-Hope @CheerBear and @Former-Member...and then I made myself giggle again. I have edited my post. This is because when I just re-read it, I realised that somehow the spelling checker had turned anti-perspirant into anti anti-perspirant. I am ROFL at this...and also ROFL that none of you pointed it out. I have to say, I super like my aspie brain. You neurotypicals miss out on so many funny things with your lack of attention to detail. Of course, I can't actually function in the world, but at least I can keep myself entertained in my dysfunction.

Oh and by the way, right now @Faith-and-Hope is looking like she is the wisest person around here...although I am eagerly waiting to see what wisdom @Former-Member may have to impart on the subject.
