The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

My highlight of the day was instantly closing an email that hit (momentarily like a truck) early this morning, in a planned decision and act of "nope, not today".

It was a really good day from there 🙂

Ooooh a doubly highlighty day is super @TheVorticon.

The highlight of my day was that I DRAGGED myself to a yoga class this evening after missing Monday night due to Operation Stay Alive being in full swing. It was soooooooo hard to drrrrrrrraaaaaaag myself there. But then I had a super class and now I feel super good. Yay for doing opposite action!

The highlight of my day was discovering some forgotten chocolate in my fridge. It was like buried treasure!

Nice @Queenie 🙂 I sometimes try to hide sweet snacks from myself to "discover" later... but it usually ends up being "discovered" within the next couple of hours 😛 Forgotten chocolate is a very good type of chocolate 🙂

The highlight of my day today was a very fun moment watching one of mine meet someone who has been a bit of an inspiration/favourite plus a bonus someone they didn't expect to be meet (it's a someone they've dressed up as before - that's how big this was for them!). They did the squealy excited then run and hide behind me feeling shy thing, before getting photos and autographs. So cool for them and a moment they won't forget for a while ☺
