The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Dorky highlight here, but overall I think it was being able to redo the layout of a document to put it into a structure that actually made a bit of sense, and add in a bunch of cool graphs that prove a point I was trying to make. Prior to the restructure, it was a giant tangle of words that made it impossible for me to continue working on it, because there was no logical flow. Like a brainstorming session where everyone talks at once and all the ideas are in the air with no way to capture or think through them. Tomorrow I'll find out if the restructure helps me to actually generate content.

My highlight today was getting my car serviced. The last service was over 40,000 kms ago! It's a huge relief. :face_with_rolling_eyes:😆

Topic Tuesday was definitely a highlight for me too.

Showing a Bunnings guy which tool to use on my wipper snipper and having him ignore me, fail at his attempt and then pick up the one I suggested while I had a good chuckle to myself (they actually had a toolbox in our tool shop @Phoenix_Rising !) was another.

And finding these pretties that are much more purple in real life, which were a super score and a welcome addition to the garden was another highlight too 🙂

Highlight today was working for a few hours on a video project. I completed two early test drafts of the short piece I am making. This is good.
