The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Sorry to hear you've had struggles again but great to hear that you were planning on getting out with your dog 🙂 Hope you enjoy your peaceful house tonight.

My highlight today was sitting back and watching my ilttle people shine during a family gathering.

Highlight here today was hearing marvellously musical currawong calls outside, as I was falling asleep for an afternoon nap. A lovely way to head into dreamland.

Today was a highlight of the year for me. A Bach Passion, Orchestra, harpsichord, Gamba, fabulous sensitive brilliant soloists. Great conductor with music and heart ... and my son made it on time and ENJOYED.

Trying so hard to find a highlight of my day. I've had a holding on day that was so hard and long. Today all I could find was squeezing a lime that needed to be used into some lemonade and enjoying the flavour.

Lime is delicious, @Former-Member. Glad you found that moment of enjoyment to share.

Highlight here was my beach walk. I'm talking especially about those moments where my mind was not focussed on myself or anyone, and I was just a human creature walking along on the edge of the water. I love those moments of freedom from my analytical mind.
