The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

The highlight of my day was not having to cook as we had a pizza delivered. Cooking tomorrow though as we’re having stir fry and everyone loves my Asian cooking.

@Ali11 Hope all will work out. Then with increased working hours, I can have more money to go out and take friend out. She is single mother. I will get fit walking and my anxiety will be better too. Thanks for care and support,

I had my haircut today. I was given a long head massage by the assistant and my hairdresser chatted to me in a friendly way.

A big highlight today as I received notification of getting top marks on my second last unit in my course. I’m literally nearly finished.... can’t wait.

I called by because I wanted to share a big highlight of my day too (probably a highlight of my month/year/the last couple of years really).

After successfully completing a pretty intense feeling assessment, today I was formally offered a position in a MH organisation I could once only dream about being involved with, doing something I so badly want to get back into doing.

Also, in a strange but cool timing thing, today is the anniversary of my last MH admission. I'm feeling really proud of how far I have come in a year and so, sooooo excited about this new adventure I am on 😁
