Hello

Hello

Hello @Shaz51 @Naturelover @ChasingSunsets @TAB @MissGremlin and everyone. Sorry I can't remember a lot of usernames and I'm not sure notifications are working.

Sending greetings and commiserations. My account has had some bugs - still does - but I'd like to share group 🫂 hugs

Re: Hello

@Dimity how are you lovely? Are you well. I have no idea what’s been happening in forums at all. The staff are kind here and it’s an all women’s ward. That’s helped. I’ve been a wreck bht I guess that’s expected considering I took myself in for a psychiatric stay. So much has happened here with multiple psychiatric appointments, social workers, dieticians, pharmacology, blood tests galore. I’ve spent most of the time just distressed and unwell. I’m allowed my seeing guide dog here so he’s with me. Im tapering off a medication as well. They are making a compounded version but it’s brutal. Very lonely place to be.@ENKELI @TAB @Taali @Thyme @Nola @Appleblossom @DogMan79

Re: Hello

Hugs 🫂 @Cuddlebear I'm so pleased they're so diligent in trying to assess and support you. How can we help with the loneliness? Feel free to post and tag us.

The tapering is bound to be challenging but hopefully should be very worthwhile in allowing you to move onto much better meds.

Are there any group activities offered?

Do you use audiobooks much? I'm trying to get back to reading. Someone recommended some British whodunits by Martha Grimes that are a bit silly and dated but amusing.

I hope you're getting snuggles from Wilbur, and that he's adjusting well.

Re: Hello

evening @Dimity 😊. How are you lovely? I am pretty exhausted but managing to function on here which is a real bonus, will take it while I can!

Love the wattle!! I think I have seen similar around here too, isn’t it pretty!! Like yellow pom-poms 😊.

lol the butcher bird giving you the run about like the kookaburras my end 😉. I saw two birds today and didn’t know what writhed of them are and now I’m irritated 🤣 love knowing what stuff is and can’t let it go easy. I’ll do a bit of a google search. Photos aren’t being approved so if you’re still keen I’ll send them tomorrow 🙂.

Thats interesting what the dietician said. I didn’t think about the oil content. How’s your weekend been?

Hello lovely @Cuddlebear i have been thinking of you 😊. Glad Mr W🐶 is able to be with you. I am sure he is giving you as much comfort and assistance as he can. We are with you my friend, you are not alone here 💚

@cuddlebear good to read you. But sorry you're struggling

@dimity is this your hang out thread?

Re: Hello

Gentle hugs @Cuddlebear hoping your hospital stay is worth it. Thanks for the tag.

@Dimity @Chasingsunsets Loving the bird talk, but around here at the moment mostly I am only seeing topknot pigeons.

I also struggle with proprioception, which is part of my sticking with physio practice, which seems to help with all the aches and pains. Just keeping the system moving.

Pumpkin seeds and linseeds this morning with yoghurt and porridge and sultanas. Food and diet can be so specific to each of yus. What works and what doesnt.

Hello @DogMan79

Thinking of you also @EternalFlower

Re: Hello

Good luck solving your bird mysteries @Chasingsunsets . There are some Facebook groups that often help people out with ids. Hope you're going ok with your exercises.

My breakfast is broadly similar @Appleblossom . I sometimes see crested pigeons up the road... very distinctive sound when taking flight.

I started this thread during the tech meltdown @DogMan79 when I couldn't access existing threads and it seems to have built up a bit of momentum which is nice. You're very welcome.

I feel like there could have been a linebreak, to avoid implying pigeons as breakfast lol

Ha ha @DogMan79

@Dimity

There seems to be a new tek issue with sections of text in replies randomly being changed into hypertext. It happens a lot to me, and if I try and edit it, the hypertext segment will not permit editing. Just another bug. @Jynx @Nala2022

Saw a New Holland honeyeater today. Just grateful for birdsong generally, which allows me to be a loopee laydee talking to the birds . lol
