Re: Hello

Yeah think the lorikeets were just being rude 😆. Glad you liked the pics! @Dimity

How’s your day going?

I would love to see some nests but I don’t see them often! I saw a finch nest the other day though a bit high to see if anyone was still in it.

Aw a friendly hello from your staffy friend ☺️. What else are you working on in the garden atm?

yeah I might have to get her something else she seems better today she’s already on fish oil, collagen and pea and rosehip so trying to do all I can for her after all she’s my best buddy 🥰

it should have a notes feature, at the end of your day track it should have notes and comments as your last bit. Sometimes I get lost in it they updated it I liked the old version a bit better re the graph!

yeah been keeping up the the exercises I keep getting these ant bite feeling around when the ligaments are torn not sure if that keeps me awake too cos it’s really annoying got it with my last ankle injury too. Very annoying.

omg so I was getting in the car today and just before I got in I heard some noises in the air anyway happened quick but looked like there was a bird scuffle in the sky they came down to about 4/5 meters then one of the birds just crash landed on the grass! Anyway the poor thing passed away not sure at the time if it was dead or concussed it looked dead but I didn’t want to just leave it if it was alive. Anyway bit of a sad story but very random! It was a sea bird too and I am a bit far from there so quite confused. It look like it got an injury to its chest and it wasn’t a bird of prey that it was fighting looked like smaller birds but a group so no idea happened a bit quick. These things always happen to me just witness the most random stuff lol.

drinking a vanilla latte now, waiting for it to touch the soul lol

what’s on for your arvo? 😊

Hello @Chasingsunsets we're on the same wavelength calling critters "anyone" not "anything". I don't think we've had nests very close but young uns sometimes visit and yell for food. Last week i heard a bub mag and a bub noisy miner.

I'll have another look at the tracker tonight. One daily mood rating vs unlimited for Daylio. Not sure which is better.

I was once at a reserve when a big cloud of black feathers fell out of the sky. It was spooky. There must have been a raptor.

Yes I think my ligament prickled too at times. But no surface inflammation.

Hello @Cuddlebear ! I'm across several threads but we've chatted here a couple of times before your inpatient stay. How are you and Wilbur?

It's pretty squelchy here with the rain. I haven't been able to walk. Should do my exercises instead of procrastinating. They include marching on the spot.

Re: Hello

Hi ya @Dimity! How’s your Monday going?

hehe yeah love all animals 🥰🤩. Aw a baby Maggie- watch your head for the swoops lol. Like noisy miners too 😊

yeah I hear you re daily check in- it also has a “quick mood check” but I’m not sure how frequently it can be done. I like the function of being about to chart two different moods at once I found that helpful always was stumped how to chart in the past with just one score but never questioned it just would be left confused and hence then would stop tracking as it wouldn’t make sense to me. I should get back to mood tracking can’t remember if I mentioned I fell off the wagon with mood charting, no specific reason for it just did.

oh geez that sounds intense with your cloud of black feathers! Does sound like a raptor! The more I think about the poor bird I saw fall out of the sky think it maybe had a fight with its own kind and then the fall killed it. Nice looking bird though, poor thing. Ah well it came for a car ride 🤣🙊 cos I had to go somewhere but had nothing to put it in and at the time didn’t know if it was concussed or dead. Anyway! How random - love that omen for the day lol. Wasn’t sure what I was in for after that! Full moon and all 🤪

Hows The movement my friend. I should do my exercises today! I need to do the knee to wall and use the resistance band but I feel it’s improving still think my weaker side is just so lazy and that annoys me. Ah well more reason to continue my normal exercises too. 🤪

Not much else happening here really. Also a bit of a boring week too. Maybe my motivation might reappear this week 🤔 can always hope right 😊.

Re: Hello

Our mags seem pretty chill @Chasingsunsets but I've been swooped by a lapwing.

I haven't twigged how MT works yet, doesn't seem clear to my foggy brain. I use Daylio several times a day.

Poor bird. But it sounds as though it was a quick end, hope it didn't suffer much. I called a wildlife carer for a possum a while back.

I've fallen off the wagon re exercises, need to get back to them. I excused myself as I thought I felt crook but the gp is dubious of my anomalous results so it was probs hypochondria re my laziness. I have to have further tests in a month. The 4th lot. It's a bit ridiculous.

Your weak side is carrying more load than usual given your injury so probs tiring quicker. I have to modify an exercise because the ex physiol spotted one knee is wonky.

With this full moon look out for the 7 sisters nearby. I'm half blind but probs wouldn't see them anyway with streetlight glow here in the suburbs.

Ah motivation. Would be nice to have imagination and motivation - think of something and do it. Used to have a good guided yoga nidra app for visualisation but it was discontinued so I couldn't install it when I changed phones.

Enjoy your Wednesday - walkies maybe?

Re: Hello

Lapwings say no more lol @Dimity. They have been nesting the last few months here 😜 I’m getting a bit annoyed by them but Ind cops the swoops so she takes them for the team haha.

yeah MT is a bit much since the upgrade it was a big more simple pre upgrade.

Yeah was a quick death pretty hard landing. Such an odd thing to witness - poor bird 🤪

are you up for some exercises tonight or tomorrow? I’ll do some with you 😊. What’s up with your bloods? Still recording too many bananas ? 🤪🙈 You feeling ok? What’s the docs plans?

still thinking my stronger side is still compensating it just won’t give up dominating swear it’s something to do with an anterior hip tilt or something. The next time I go to the physio I’m going to ask her I have been hinting but she reckons it’s not hip related but I fill it in my hip and I don’t have good range of motion in the hip so if it’s not the hip it’s impacting the hip and wish I could just fix it myself 🤪. sorry to hear about your knee.

dont think I have ever known or looked for the 7 sisters but I’ll be looking now!

went to the shop today and brought a whole heap of random stuff plus the 2 things I needed lol. Makes for a bit of fun!

yessss walks tomorrow 🤩 it’s the only thing I look forward to 😊. What’s up for you tomorrow? Hope it’s dryer for you tomorrow, how’s your staffy friend 🐶

Re: Hello

Hi @dimity I've had a couple of eastern rosellas in my courtyard recently. But mostly just the regulars

Re: Hello

Hi @Chasingsunsets thanks I'll get onto my osteo exercises when I jump off here, and aim for the ex physiol ones this afternoon.

Over the last month or so I've had 3 rounds of tests all showing something different that's not quite right for kidneys but not consistent. Potassium was ok in the latest one but filtration rate had dropped 20% in the space of a week and the gp said she didn't believe it. Tbh I guess I'm used to feeling my mh is somehow the problem, but hyperkalemia would have explained a lot of things. I guess I should be glad I can still have my bananas.

Yes misaligned spine surely impacts hip biomechanics, everything dem bones dem bones being connected. My hip often clicks when i do backward leg extensions. My knee is fine, the ex physiol eagle eye picked up something I hadn't noticed.

I'll sweep the drive and give the staffy something to look at.

Hope your walk is becoming more of a jaunt than a hobble.

Re: Hello

I love eastern rosellas @DogMan79 . Half a lifetime ago you could watch a nesting pair going in and out a hole in a lightpole at the local station.

My parents in the hills had king parrots and crimson rosellas.
