Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

@Phoenix_Rising while I am glad that turtle whisperer thinks you and TTT will be a good match, the rest just sucks so so much. I think I would feel the "I can't win" feelings after that too and they are hard. I am guessing that this would probably make the whole ridiculous length of time that it took to get to the phone call, feel even more frustrating now. And feeling that urgency and pressure (and possibly fear) that you're screwed if there's a glitch and this doesn't work, is not a great way to be heading in to this 😞

I can imagine how hard the session was to get to that conversation. The times I have had similar conversations, where we both know why we are having it and how it is going to go, but we keep going because we have to, feels exactly that - kind of funny. It feels strange afterwards for me, and can leave me feeling even more alone.

I so much wish you could get a win Phoenix_Rising. Things are not fair 😞

I'm scared @CheerBear. I have NOTHING to live for...aside from the thought of making one obnoxious little care bear sad. No friends, no family, no job, nothing.

Why can't people understand the simple statement DO NOT GET CLOSER TO ME THAN YOU CAN SUSTAIN. What is so damn hard to understand about that statement? I KNOW I'm a nightmare to be around. I KNOW I destroy anyone who comes near me. That is why I tell people DO NOT GET CLOSER TO ME THAN YOU CAN SUSTAIN. And yet still, STILL, people walk in and then walk out again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW HARD IS IT TO UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Struggling so so so SO much here @CheerBear.

Between TW bailing on me, and me STILL not having got to talk through the Forum Land muddle with anyone, I am in an absolute world of trouble here. My brain is FRIED and no one is hearing me.

The waves are GIANT. I don't matter. Anybody can do anything to me. Nobody hears me, nobody believes me. Everybody goes away. Scared scared scared scared.

@CheerBear everybody goes away. Fred was right. He WAS the only one who would stay. I wish with all my heart that I had never left him. I was infinitely safer with him than I will ever be again.
