Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

I don't know what to say to that @Phoenix_Rising - this is why I don't trust anyone - was starting to but that has gone!

No @Phoenix_Rising I can't imagine what that would be like for you

I think I still trust some people @Zoe7 but I don't think they have the power to call the shots. I think in their hearts, they are probably as troubled by the mess as we are, but they will have to do stupid office politics stuff and go along with what those higher up the chain say. That is my intense fear. I DO still trust some people...I am just terrified that they may be almost as powerless as us in this situation.

I am going to disappear in between the girafffes - in the inner sanctum of the underwater cave - and cry on my own - but with you @Phoenix_Rising @Former-Member @CheerBear

Do you remember Wednesday @Phoenix_Rising @Former-Member - we all had a reasonably good day (as far as we can) when the mods were 'everywhere' - liking and posting - and it felt like the 'old' forum - everyone equal and everyone on the same page - and the spirit of everyone seemed to lift!

The way things are right now, someone could die before NikNik comes home. If the message truly is that people struggling with suicidal ideation can't call/chat with the HC, then where exactly does that leave people who use that service because they have had horrendous experiences elsewhere??? Telling people to go and use a service that they are never ever going to use because accessing it is in itself traumatizing, is about as useful as telling someone with no legs to access a service that is up ten flights of stairs. Yeah, the service might be there in theory, but in practice, it is a useless referral. I'm scared! I don't know how to say it any more clearly.

Helping places, helping people, helping things … so, so much harm. 🙁 Everywhere. Every time. Why do I even keep trying? Why don’t I ever learn? 🙁

I'm scared too @Phoenix_Rising. I'm scared for you - and selfishly for me as a consequence - because I know there is nowhere for you to go outside of this - here - now! and I so do not want to NOT have you here!
