Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 Yep, everything felt SO GOOD and SO NORMAL on Wednesday. I slept very peacefully on Wednesday night. Last night I slept for about three hours. I know that is typical for you Zoe, but it isn't for me. And I won't sleep tonight. I'm supposed to be having a super fun adventure on Sunday and because of all this, I really couldn't feel less excited about it if I tried. I will definitely still go, but I will be dragging myself there, when really, it is something I've been looking forward to and working towards for 2 years.

I can see you up between the giraffes @Zoe7.

Couldn't have said it better myself, @Zoe7. 🙁

You REALLY matter, @Phoenix_Rising.

Re: Riding a wave

Raa, crossover posts. That 'couldn't have said it better' was about being scared for @Phoenix_Rising.

But yes, you are right @Zoe7—I am here because I super like you all and I feel connected for the first time in a REALLY long time. 🙁

Re: Riding a wave

I'm just going to leave these for @Former-Member and @Former-Member - don't know what else to do to let them know that I really hope they are doing okay in all this too

No crossover @Former-Member - I got it

@Former-Member ...and 'ditto' on the connectedness

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 and @Former-Member I actually wasn't talking about myself when I posted that (because that would be bad, because the guidelines say I shouldn't share with anyone in Forum Land if I'm struggling with SI). I was thinking of others who I have seen mention that they call/chat the HC because it is so much better than lifeline and other helplines.

@Former-Member we need to hold on until NikNik gets home. I do still trust NikNik...it's just a matter of how many people there are above her who she needs to curtail to.

@Former-Member and another ditto here on the connectedness.

@Former-Member I answered your question about what would help me, ages ago and the night is marching on.
