Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 I'm not allowed to call. I've been told it has to be addressed by email. There are rules around how often I can call, and normally that is a bazillion percent ok. My muddle is extremely large and overwhelms everyone who gets too close to me. Thus the rules are there to help reduce the risk of me getting dumped by SANE in the same way that I have been dumped by a trillion other people/organisations. However, this is kind-of an exceptional circumstance. It really really doesn't feel ok that those rules are being held firm when this entire muddle started with a giant oopsy (not the word I'm using in my brain!!!!!) by someone at SANE. I think perhaps there should be a subclause to the rule that if the situation emanates from SANE, the regular rules get suspended for a little time until the muddle has been unmuddled.

I know you have your own rules @Phoenix_Rising but I would summise that one extra call by you tonight could infact save serveral other calls/contact being made by others.

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 Well there's no way I can test that theory without an invitation. Otherwise it is EXTREMELY probable that there will be a repeat of last Thursday night.

...and to be honest with you @Phoenix_Rising this feels like deja vu - for last thursday and our muddle the week before! I am probably stepping over the line myself now but I AM being affected also now - again

Re: Riding a wave

It feels very not right. There should be a duty of care subclause. 🙁

Re: Riding a wave

I'm SO TIRED of just coping. I have survived a week with this muddle. I have spent an entire week doing absolutely nothing constructive. I waited until Monday, and then I waited until today, and yet still, nothing is actually resolved. When do we get to the fixing bit??? I so very very very badly wish NikNik was here. I'm so scared this is going to simply drag on and on.

Everything felt so ok yesterday with Lunar and Pebbles in Forum Land. Now I feel utterly shut down.
