Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

I'm SO muddled @Faith-and-Hope. In the very first post on this thread I used @ moderator and I've used it a bazillion times since. When did this rule change? I am so so so SO muddled. All I know is that I have been super struggling since Thursday night, I know it wouldn't be appropriate to talk it out here, and I have nowhere else to talk it out. I'm in SUCH a muddle.

Re: Riding a wave

I wish I could ask some questions here and try and work it out and get it sorted with you, but am feeling the inappropriate feels even thinking about doing that @Phoenix_Rising. It's hard and I can only imagine what it might feel like for you 😞

Re: Riding a wave

I am super glad that you are here on the ocean right now @Faith-and-Hope. I super badly need someone to superly duperly patiently work through with me what the heck happened on Thursday night. I frustrate EVERYBODY when I'm trying to make sense of something @Faith-and-Hope. People always end up using their frustrated voice and telling me I just need to accept it when I don't have a clue what they are talking about. I super try, I really do. From my perspective I followed all the rules on Thursday night. I don't have the slightest idea what went so wrong. I so very VERY badly wish it could have got unmuddled today.

@CheerBear suddenly I am thinking of your extremely wise puffer fish who told you to be pacific so that they could actually understand you! I super wish I could hang out with puffer fish. Methinks we wouldn't get into muddles at all.

Re: Riding a wave

This is super super super hard. I simply don't understand why the muddle couldn't have been unmuddled today. I knew nothing could happen over the weekend, but I don't know why it hasn't been dealt with today.

Waiting is hard @Faith-and-Hope. I managed the weekend relatively ok, but as today has gone on it has become harder and harder. I simply don't understand why I couldn't get any support with this muddle today.

Re: Riding a wave

Were we just in the same place at the same time again @Phoenix_Rising?! 🙂

Pacific is so important and even more so (I think) when in a muddle, an upside down scary world, with snowflake banana heads, or during meltings (and a million other times). I think it would be really helpful to have clear and pacific explanations of what is and is not ok and I hope that happens soon.

I believe you and puffer fish would not get muddled either.

Here and listening @Phoenix_Rising ......

Re: Riding a wave

@CheerBear Yep Pacific is super important. I'm pretty sure this ocean that I float in off the coast of Forum Land is the Pacific ocean.

@Faith-and-Hope I super want to talk but I'm too scared to talk it out here because I think that would break another rule. Several times I've started writing a post and then deleted it because I'm too scared of saying something bad. I feel like my brain is going to explode with the muddle. I know you can't answer this, but WHY was this not unmuddled today? Even if I could have just been given some information about when it is likely to be unmuddled, that would have been helpful. I feel super invisible and worthless right now. The I don't matter feelings are superly duperly giant.

Re: Riding a wave

As well as Pacific, the other super important thing is consistency. It is CHANGES to rules that make my brain explode. I simply do not understand how something can be ok one day and then not ok the next day. @CheerBear it is super important that you be Pacific AND consistent with puffer fish (and all LF, but especially extra awesome ones like puffer fish). Consistency makes me feel safe.
