Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

Wonky days are tricky, as are sleep issues @Phoenix_Rising. Only one sleep until Turtle Whisperer Tuesday eve and hopefully that will help unwonk some things. You've got this too!

I did get through the module and I SO much found value in objective, relationship, self respect! It was the shift that I needed. I want to feel proud of myself after this interaction. That's what I am going with 🙂 Tomorrow will be ok enough I think. Tuesday maybe not, but I will survive. I'm so glad to have you + pocket crew with me, thank you.

Thank you also for letting me know about the yes and how to find a yes or no. I will look forward to your post in the morning 🙂

Night (again) Phoenix_Rising and goodnight @Zoe7 and @Former-Member 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

Thursday night was hard, and Friday was hard and Saturday was hard and Sunday was hard and today is hard. I feel utterly alone with the hardness. I don't understand anything that happened on Thursday night and I know that the big feelings aren't going to even begin to settle until I've had a chance to properly talk it through with someone. It feels so cruel that it has just been left to drag on and on and on. I do not understand.

Earlier today I was looking at the first page of this thread. I simply cannot fit the contents of that page together with the events of Thursday night. I feel super scared and utterly bewildered.

I so very very badly need to talk it out. But I know it would be inappropriate to do it here...and I have nowhere else. Once again, I can feel my brain melting just that little bit more.

I am trying to bail out the Titanic with a teaspoon, and on Thursday night another massive wave washed over the side. It is utterly impossible for me to even remotely keep up with the waves that keep coming. I truly have no hope anymore that I will ever be able to heal my brain enough to be able to have any sort of a career. Twelve years at university, only to spend the rest of my life on welfare. Yay for me.

I haven't left my house since Thursday. The whole world feels scary right now. It truly feels like the world has turned completely upside down, and I feel utterly alone in the muddle.

I’m sorry things are the messy, muddled way they are, @Phoenix_Rising. 🙁 I know there is nothing I can say to make anything even the slightest bit better, but know that I hear you (I really hear you) and I am here in the ocean. 🙁

Re: Riding a wave

I am here in the world that feels upside down and really scary at the moment @Phoenix_Rising with you also. Things that melt brains that are left to drag on, are cruel. I wish I had a spoon. A really giant enormous one.

Re: Riding a wave

I have worked superly duperly hard at being patient, coping, and surviving all day, but I am starting to ultra struggle. All those thoughts of nobody hears me, I don't matter, anybody can do anything to me are super gigantically growing. I don't understand any of this.

Hi @Phoenix_Rising ......

Will it help to see if @Former-Member or
@Former-Member or @Former-Member are here ?

Re: Riding a wave

@Faith-and-Hope Well it would but my understanding is that it's now bad to ask for a moderator to appear. I'm SO muddled.

Re: Riding a wave

It might just be use of the @ Moderator tag @Phoenix_Rising ..... if so, then having that clarified might help.

We have been able to tag mods by name in the past and it's been okay ..... let's see what
happens now.
