Thanks for dropping by the ocean @Former-Member.
Today has been a very wonky day, as I see it has also been for you and others around here. I have spent far too much of the day in bed, such that sleep is not going to come easy tonight. I am having more sleeping issues these days than I've ever had in my life - though still not nearly as bad as many others around here.
Realistically, things are not going to improve around here until the gigantic muddle of Thursday night has been properly worked through. Hopefully that will be in the next day or two. Right now I'm in THE WAITING PLACE.
@Zoe7 I know you cannot say you will never leave - that is why you are not my friend. I always knew that the friend who walked out of my world last year would be the last friend I would ever have. It has simply happened too many times. Prior to that person, my previous attempt at friendship was in 2006/07. It lasted about twelve months before she walked out of my world - after calling the police when I turned up at her house one night distressed. At the time I thought she would be my last friend, but then N walked into my world and after a looooooooong time I learnt to trust her. She walked out of my world in December last year. That's it for me. I know that no matter how sincere someone sounds or how many promises they make, they will leave, creating yet another indelible memory of grief and loss. Nope, I am definitely never doing the friend thing ever again. I will stick with my not-friend, my favourite aquaintance and my new you-interest-me-and-I-super-like-you aquantance...which I guess makes @Former-Member my yimaisly aquaintance.
Oh by the way @Former-Member, I read somewhere that you don't have a couch or armchair. Me neither!!!!! I moved out of the home of my family-of-origin in 1997 and I've never quite got around to buying a couch or armchair. One of my quirks is that I super like sitting/lying on the floor. So...I have an office chair at my desk (where I am right now) and I have a stool in the kitchen where I sit at the kitchen bench to eat sometimes (often I sit on the floor), and that's it. It's always really funny when a tradesman or someone comes. They don't notice the lack of a couch until they go to sit down to write up the bill. Then you can see this really puzzled look on their face.
Anyway, thanks again for dropping by.
