Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

@Former-Member Just read your post again - whithout the distraction of my mum being here

Thank you for your very kind and touching words

If I am able to provide any joy or comfort to anyone else then there must be some worth within me!

I do love you VERY articulate sentence lol - yes if I'm here I feel able (on some level) to be here, which is infact better than not feeling able to be here - it's pretty clear to me

You have SO MUCH worth @Zoe7, but I know how very hard it can be to see worth within ourselves. I also know how hard it can be to just ‘be’ and keep ‘being’ so I am super glad you can be here right now (and super glad you can understand my convoluted, wonky sentences). 😊

I'm sitting waiting for a big to get ready to do a thing and jumped on to say hi and read the above. @Former-Member I too feel sad thinking that you don't feel safe here. I am sorry if letting your guard down has felt bad. I feel the need to say that after recent nest conversations and that's maybe my own stuff but I think it would feel yuck to leave that unsaid for a while. Hope the afternoon is good enough for all.

Oh @Former-Member you should see some of the sentences I have to 'decipher' with my kids - yours is definitely not wonky in comparison - infact I found it spot on

Yes it is difficult to see that worth within ourselves and even more difficult to believe in it!

I fully understand the concept of just 'being' - and also what a daily struggle it is. For me, at the moment, it is hour by hour - which is better than minute by minute but still not a good place to be!

Re: Riding a wave

Oh @CheerBear, it was nothing to do with our chats. I feel unsafe and do things anyway. I have to, because the alternative is to completely isolate or stop altogether. I’ve really liked getting to know you and sharing bits of my story. As much as connection scares the be-jeepers out of me, I know it is something I need in my life if I want my life to feel like it is worth living. 🌷

Being here has been a good thing (and that’s why I’m still here). The problem was a brain-glitch the other night. I probably wasn’t in the right headspace for any sort of interaction. It was all me making things harder for myself (story of my life). Please don’t feel like you have anything to be sorry about at all. I am super, super grateful for your kindness—and @Phoenix_Rising and @Zoe7 and @Maggie and all the others who have taken the time to talk to me and read/like my posts. My brain is broken, that’s all.

I hope big has an excellent afternoon (and you and the other LF, too). 🌷

Thank you @Former-Member for replying and reassuring me. I had a brain moment and it was hoping I hadn't contributed to stuff for you, and worrying I had. Sensitive, snowflakey banana head sometimes I guess 😉

I am happy for you that being here has been a good thing (I feel the same). I love seeing you around and getting to know you, and I look forward to getting to know you more in time 🙂

Big had an awesomely fabulous day. I had tears. Middle had tears. It was lovely.

Hope the day has been good for all 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Phoenix_Rising. I am thinking of you wondering how your plan to take today slowly and mindfully has been.

It's been wonky for me today. I've tried to visit a nest and talk it out but my words aren't really working and it's frustrating me to try and find them, so I'm just going to sit quietly here but not until it changes or passes which it will.

Hope you sleep well tonight and that today has been a bit more ok for you than yesterday and tomorrow will be more ok again.

Night.
