Unfortunately, I wasn't the Moderator watching over the ocean on Monday night. 😞 I haven't taken Mr. Polar Bear into work yet, but will be doing so next Thursday for the first time. For the time being, he is with me at home, keeping this Little Mermaid company - we have been talking about all our underwater adventures! He is quite the exlporer!

I am super glad you are here watching over the ocean tonight @Former-Member. I love that you and Mr Polar Bear are getting along so well. I can't wait to hear what everyone in the SANE office thinks of him.

The ocean is so super calm at the moment, which is so super nice. And the reason the ocean is so super calm is that I have finally FINALLY found a psychologist that I connect with. I spoke to therapist-take-twelve today and we have set up our first appointment for next Tuesday. And guess what? She is going to work on a treatment plan between now and then. Given I spent about seven months asking (A) for a treatment plan - and then gave up asking, this is super busting exciting for me. I know therapist-take-twelve is the right match. My inside tells me that I have found someone that I connect with in the same way I connected with (K). I know things are going to get better now. I know she isn't a magician and I know things aren't going to be all magically fixed in five minutes...but I do believe that this is a significant turning point and that things will be better than they have been since the final showdown with Fred just over two years ago. I truly have hope now that I will find my way out of my muddle...and trust me, if I can find my way out of my muddle, then I know there is hope for everyone in Forum Land - no matter how dark the darkness may be right now.

I am so happy that the ocean is super calm for you at the moment. That is such amazing news @Phoenix_Rising! I am shocked that (A) didn't formulate a treatment plan for you after several attempts to ask her to do so. But what wonderful new that this therapist is on the ball, and working on your treatment between now and next Tuesday! You're right - sometimes you just get a gut-feeling that it's right! Again I am super happy for this little turtle!

Yes, it does take one little step at a time, but this definitely sounds like a significant turning point.
