The overnight rule is a pain @GezzaP but understandable. Last year I had a heavy fall my first night home after several days in hospital for surgery and ended up hospitalised for weeks, including for a mh relapse that then occurred (I'm bipolar 1). This year I asked to stay overnight after a colonoscopy.
I don't drive and got no particular instructions after my cataract op.
