Hi @Meowmy how are you doing.

I’m taking it gently, I’ve been reflecting a lot, so it’s been really emotional

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@creative_writer Didn’t do much in the afternoon as per usual for me. Checked Facebook a few times, did some Spanish lessons and tried to keep up with SANE forums.

Just had a snack. My metabolism is so fast it annoys me. Will have to put something on to eat soon. Don’t know what yet. Undecided. Making decisions is hard for me. So tempting to get a takeaway delivered or just chuck something in the microwave or oven.

What did you do today?

@Meowmy I wrote a poem over the weekend to help me process. How has your day been?

@GezzaP I eat five meals a day because I get lightheaded without regular meals.

How far are you into Spanish lessons. Are you able to speak Spanish as fluently as a native speaker?

I didn’t do much, I did a workout, had a shower and I’m waiting for hand wash clothing to be done so I can hang them for drying

@GezzaP I've never heard that saying before. Yes glad to see the back of my ex. That was over 10 years ago now. One way I know how to spot a deceiver now is if they sleep all the time. They invest so much energy in their persona that it saps their energy for anything else so they spent an inordinate amount of the evening and weekends crashing because they are so tired

I get light headed too @creative_writer . The hardest parts of my eye surgery was fasting from 9am on limited water as well until I finally got something to eat about 5.30pm. The other impossible part was the nurse trying to put drops in my eye. Raised my blood pressure to 195 over 100. My anxiety was that bad. Hoping I’ll be less anxious next time, but I really hate the drops being put in by someone else. Give me a mirror and I’ll do it myself. Don’t remember any of the actual surgery.

I threw a couple of spuds in the oven.

@SmilingGecko I made that saying up to describe my Mum’s 2nd husband. I’m waiting for my dinner to cook. I am so darn hungry all the time with taking the extra O, but scared to reduce dose without consulting my psych. Hoping she’ll make a time for me next Tuesday. I wish I could get my mood under control but atm I’m all over the place. Just put last dose of drops in eye for the day. About to put tv on.
