Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

This is a little project I did earlier this week, inspired by @Faith-and-Hope on one of the art threads, also @Appleblossom and Sherry, and some others on the Carers side.

The story "reads" left to right line by line as you would a book.

Some will "get it" some probably won't but nonetheless, it depicts my "black hole" story and everything in it is chosen or placed deliberately. It's supposed to be a side by side trilogy but in this format it's the three sequential pages so the pics in the collage can be seen.

It's a little scary posting it because it means something to me but well here it is anyhow.

Your post made me smile @Former-Member. Truthfully I'm still really wobbly but I'm safe here. It should get better hopefully. It's the first time I've actually sat up in bed today. I was only admitted last night.

@Former-Member - i look forward to seeing you back there and cheering you on, whenever it is that you're ready. Will be thinking of you

@Former-Member - how do you find it being by yourself on his off weeks? Sometimes alone time is great and other times it isn't so great i think.

can I ask how you go about getting admitted @Former-Member? Do you have to be inpatiented through outside source or can you just rock up and say I need in?

Re: Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

I used to work away myself.... @Former-Member so it's really been part of my life for a long time. the 4/3 cycle I don't like. well not for long times cos the 3 just isn't long enough it too quick of a turn around... the 8/6 is the best I think.

Most of the time I'm okay with it because I know there is a long stretch coming up and I know he really loves his job. I loved working away too, it was great.

It's just the local public hospital @Former-Member. They know my history and I'm connected with the local mental health team so I have to turn up to ED but it is really hard to do. turning up here is on my safety plan as I've not always been so safe in the past. I hope this helps.

well it's good you have that though. I guess you know the staff too if you have been there before so they know better what to do for you. That would be good too wouldn't it @Former-Member ? If Im asking too many questions tell me to STFU please. 😛

Thank you for helping me... this has stopped me crying for the first time in hours. Thanks you too @Former-Member really kind of you both.

Re: Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

All good @Former-Member. I'm glad it helped. My son just dropped in some clothes and toiletries. Since I'm in the same clothes I've been in and slept in for three days I think it's time to shower. There's my daily goal @Former-Member.

Take care both of you. I'm slipping off the forum now, not sure when I'll be back on. You've helped me focus a bit too. 💜🤗

Just had to feed the little people - why do they want to eat dinner every.single.night lol? (Jk)

Look after yourself @Former-Member (which it sounds like you're doing). Your daily goal today sounds perfect. Hope you're back here soon, but understand why you might be away for a while

@Former-Member (my phone knows your name properly now haha!) I'm happy for you that you're not crying so much now, although tears are so needed sometimes. Life for me is allowing time for things like this forum so please tag me if you want to chat about it, or not about it, or just vent or ramble or whatever and you think it would help. I don't think people need lived experience of a particular something to be able to empathise, but I think it can help sometimes. I can empathise with what I saw in your story yesterday. Have you got abything planned tonight?

Re: Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

Well @Former-Member I'm about to jump on the tready for 20mins - 1/2 an hour... depending how I am feeling.... I've done nothing but curl up and cry most of the day before you @mentioned me in the chit chat thread. So that will be a huge step forward... then I will shower and thing about some kind of fill in.. I'm feeling emotionally wrecked so maybe just see then what happens.. won't be going anywhere that's for sure.

How about you, you got anything planned? How is scared01 doing with her garden? That sounded like a good project for her.
