@Blackcloud I had never lived in a rental until around 2013. From the age of 19ish, I built my first and then 2nd home. It wasn't until I lost my dream home, that I was forced to get a rental.
I was so used to being able to hang pictures up wherever I wanted. I wasn't aware that I had to ask permission, and then I was only allowed to use certain products, so they don't mark the wall etc
And I found their 3 monthly inspections annoying, as I didn't like the idea that they would just let themselves in to inspect the place, even if I wasn't home. And I didn't like that idea.
