@Blackcloud just read about the browsing of housing/apartments. Wondering where you landed for this? (Appologies if there is already an update i havent got to! If so, can ignore this and if i was tagged i will see it when i get to it 😅).
Smart idea that you're keeping an eye out on private also, and seems like you know what you are after re: criteria 🥰.
Feeling safe in your home is important.
Having lived in both houses and apartments, there are definitely pro's & con's of both. I can relate to feeling a little safer in an apartment than living alone in a house, due to the ability to scream out if something were to happen 😅. I have once turned down a rental because it did not feel safe (but this also was not in Australia, it was in an area where break-ins were very common and sometimes could be violent). I ended up choosing a single-room cabin on a shared property with 3 other houses/cabins 😊.
