Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I realise how little i mean to people. i mean nothing.
its abit like walking down a long dark street never knowing when a light might flick on to show me the way or give me some hope.
im tired of trying. tired of hoping. tired of coping. tired of exisiting. tired of breathing. i think im done.
dear everyone that knows me, im sorry im such a disapointment. im sorry i cant live up to your expectations. im sorry i was born. im sorry if ive hurt you. im sorry if ive made you miserable. i deserve all the blame and hatred i have gotten. everything is my fault and im sorry.
im locked within the walls of my own minds and i just cant escape it.
Pain. Pain all the time. It runs through my veins a fast flowing river with nothing there to stop it.
Just get over it they say. i wish i could, im living minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. im struggling with memories that haunt me everyday and i dont think they will ever fade.
my thoughts are overwhelming and what hurts me the most is when people pretend to care but really they dont.
im so scared. things just arent the same anymore. im not doing anything right anymore. ive lsot myself, the person i once knew isnt here anymore. i dont know what to do anymore. i feel like i dont belong here or in reality. no where. i have constant feelings of being unworthy and hopeless, of being a prisioner in my own body.
i have so much pain physically and mentally. i try to stay happy. i try to keep smiling. i try to be brave. i try to be stong. i try to act like everything is ok but im far from it.
i never know when im going to have a 'good' day and at any minute im triggered and takes such a long time to recover.
there are monsters living inside me, attacking me, ripping me apart from the inside. i dont think its ever going to end
but its ok "ill just have to get over it" just as expected

@Former-Member, perhaps your therapy is not working so well for you. There may be other options instead of or as well as what you have in place now. Personally, I've not had much luck with psychologists but have had a lot of help from psychiatrists over a long time. I would never suggest dropping your therapy when there is nothing else in place. But it can be worthwhile reviewing your options if you really feel that it is not helping you.

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

im in a self harm and suicidal prevention program and both my psychologist and my gp and my psychiatrist think its very important that i go, i guess i should be going to it. she said we can go as slow as i want but i dont think i can go any slower otherwise itll be a waste of time going. hopefully that makes sense.

my psychologist put me in the program to do first then i go back to doing dbt therapy and then eventually exposure therapy

@Former-Member, okay, that all sounds important to engage with whenever you can. But maybe believe them when they say you can go as slow as you like. Often we don't notice when small changes are happening because they are subtle on a day to day level, but it all adds up to a big change over time. You said something about not taking your meds too. Again, these things are entirely your choice and I think it's important to remember that. But, from my own personal perspective from being in similarly distressing states earlier in my life, I consider meds to have been a life saver for me. I'm still not 100% perfect about timing of them but I do always take them every day. Helps keep me way less depressed, anxious and overall more even with my moods. Take it or leave it advice, of course.

That's great, @Former-Member, sorry if I misread your earlier post. Thanks for letting me share your personal space this morning. I feel like we've got to know each other better. I'm really glad for that. Take it easy today.

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

@Former-Member, has something happened with your sisters since we were chatting just a little earlier? I don't have any sisters or brothers and don't have any critical thoughts about what you said at all. Just sorry that you are feeling this way. Crying is okay too, sometimes helpful. Sounds like there are quite a few people living at your place? Is it a big house? Lack of personal space can sometimes create tensions between people too.

Yes we keep arguing. I said to them i have a migrainr and its going to which it is now rain. They keep complaining that i never do anything. And i said i can't do much in the rain can i thats why i tooks yous for a bike ride this morning.
And my youngest is walking around the house calling me mean, stupid , lazy, bossy, your never going to be the boss of me and my middle sister has the craps at me and just glares at me now.
Yes the house is abit cramped but its only us 3 in tje house for the moment as my pop is well enough and was invited to go down the coast with his friend and his friend missus which is also his close cousin so hes down there. Mum is at work and our step dad was out and has only just walked in the door but is going to watch a movie ao atm it isnt cramped.

I dont know what to do. Their words tear into me and it hurts and haunts me. Im tje worst person going and mum.not going to be home until 4 amd then i have them at night while they go out and then i have the kids tomorrow as well and my migraine is making it worse and im tired and atm all o want to do is sh 😢😢😢😢
I guess the best thing i can do is take them for a drive around
