It feels that way. No one (psw) is around anymore. Not much from moderators.
what use to be such a lively, welcoming and supportive safe space, is…. I don’t even know what words to use. It even seems that people don’t have to be recovery focused anymore.

hi @Bow i didn't realise it bt i had actually voiced very similar concerns in my forwarded feedback today,regarding moderation being less personal and not being able to ask questions.
I will report I received a high level of care to my queries today.
perhaps some of the changes will be for the good, I don't know. It is hard to see so many ppl upset.
Perhaps it would be good if complaints could also be managed with a peer lens? I know this is unlikely.

I feel you about the laundry. Heat makes me feel like lazing and lounging! But then I guess cold makes me feel like snuggling and hiding ahaha. We're omnivores though, it makes sense our instinct is to conserve energy 😅

@Jynx i no longer have cats, but just last week my gp suggested i get one for mental health. I have been prolonging getting one for a long time, because i rent and mvoe abit. maybe i'm just making excuses.
I love cats.

Rentals make it harder for sure, but cats are resilient and do eventually adjust @EternalFlower - I hope if the moment strikes when you feel like it's a good idea, you're able to take that step. They bring so much joy 💜

I am such an overthinker so there's always a reason not to get the cat. I guess it's pretty lame as I was always saying I'd get one and never did.
I'm glad tehy adapt well, and then I think if i live in a high-rise will it be okay, will it go on my balcony? I will have to do my best and cross those bridges when I get there. Your cats are very cute. I found the tortoiseshell a very quirky one, not sure if yours is also like that.

I put in feedback about the forums and just got back that it was peer led and up to us to look out for each other. If I want something more then join the recovery club.

It’s to the point of being laughable now @Captain24 it’s always been peer led. So why did they have so many psw constantly around providing support?? And then poof. Gone.
They really need to be up front and honest and transparent about all of this. Why haven’t they addressed all of our queries? It looks so bad on them that they just continue to ignore us.
i absolutely hate it when organizations set a standard and then change everything and then just expect people to suck it up.

@Captain24 well maybe they should cease to offer sane as a "24/7 moderated forum" and suggest its a peer led space then with no moderation 🙂
