Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

@Fluttershy1 i hear you sweet. I'm glad you have your worker with you. Try to focus on your diamond art. You're not alone sweetheart ❤️.

@MissGremlin - she finishes in 5 mins, I’ve covered my diamond art, debating on if I’m going to make dinner yet or not. I’m also debating on what to do next.

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 making some dinner could be a good distraction from things. Maybe you could make some stars?

I’ve got nails on hahahah @MissGremlin - I’ve struggled doing stars at the moment. I just feel numb etc.

Hi @Fluttershy1 ,

I wasnt to jump in to remind you that if things are very good right now, it might be time to seek help offline.

It's important posts remain recovery-focused and is not a record of unhelpful thoughts.

At this time, what support would you like from the community?

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 that would make things tricky. Feeling numb is tough but you're doing well to manage things sweet.

Hai @tyme -

I feel ok, just here and there you know.
I’ve been through pretty good with sharing but it must of slipped my mind I’m really sorry.

at this time I think I need to sometimes be reminded of strategies & not to overshare sometimes.

was just trying to share in a safely manner or a understanding manner of what feelings are and the differences between some of the services. But I’ve been doing my skills.

I am safe

Re: Does it ever stop

@MissGremlin - I’m making pasta for dinner, then I may do some more diamond art to help me stay present.

@tyme - I’m trying my best to stay also out of ER as it isn’t helpful. I’ve been relying on my skills a lot. But I’m getting through.

@Fluttershy1 pasta for dinner sounds yummy. Hoping that doing some diamond art helps to stay present after. I'm be doing mine once I'm sitting in bed.
