Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

High density living is hard. Keep finding your pathway and dont give up on yourself.

Appleblossom is right, high density living is a bad idea. I lived on an cbd apartment when I was younger. The constant noise isn't conducive to sleeping and being restful.

I hope you find something a little more suited to you!!

Hey @Anonymouse1000 @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @creative_writer @Snowie @tyme @rav3n @Jynx - I sorta fell off the planet for a few days haha, needed some me time as I’ve been struggling, had trauma anniversaries come up and just bawled my eyes out. So I’ve just been keeping low key, my supports have been in but I’ve hardly spoken I’ve just wanted to hide away or I’ve masked how I’ve actually been feeling.

it’s stressful at the best of times. I just seem really flat.

am safe. Just chilling in bed watching the starlight projecter

anniversaries matter @Fluttershy1 I try and prepare for them in a way that I acknowlege the past but have something for the now.

Glad you are safe.

Thanks for reassuring us.

I lived in high density situations a lot. @Anonymouse1000

We need a level of space and closeness and people around for connection.

Its so hard getting the balance right. Not totally in our control.

Re: Does it ever stop

@Appleblossom - I did fake nails yesterday after I went to the cat cafe and I’m finding it so hard to type lol!

So I don’t have any family or friends close round me so it’s mainly my supports that help me get through. Some days I just wish there was more I could do as I feel like a burden and mistake.

but am safe I’ve had my night meds so I’m just chilling out

@Appleblossom - I’ll be around hopefully tomorrow I’m going to try and catch some sleep before I get a second wind of being awake, by the way that’s never fun because I tend to bounce off the walls haha.

but am safe, hopefully will catch you tomorrow

Re: Does it ever stop

@Appleblossom, I think you are right..

I grew up in rural areas where the closest neighbour was 3 paddocks away. The isolation and rumination was really bad for me. Likewise being in the city was distracting but distressing for a different reason.

Even suburbia doesn't feel ok, its still a little off i think. I like people but also like my space.

What sort of living situation are you in now? Similar?
