Sounds like you had a pretty full on but fun time off. I think the reason I felt so confident this time is because I’ve been through a few interviews now, and I’ve had the chance to practise the questions I usually get stuck on.
Regarding wanting to protect myself, I definitely think it’s partly self-protection. I don’t want to repeat the same mistakes or find myself in a miserable situation again, so my mind tends to analyse everything, sometimes a bit too much. But I guess, it’s all part of the process.
I hope you had a Happy Easter as well.😊
Hello @SaltwaterSoul! How are you? 🥰
This is such a great reflection! And that's exactly it, right? The more exposure we have to navigating a certain situation, the more confidence we feel approaching it again.
I think the fact you have learned from previous experiences and that you know more about what you do and don't want suggests that things can absolutely be different this time around (even if there are a few speedbumps along the way!). I am sensing the theme of your job search/work life is around 'cultivating self-trust through new experiences'? What are your thoughts on this? ☺️
Edit! I just read your most recent post - whooo! SOOO proud of you! What an amazing day to celebrate you, your efforts, and your growth. Happy Belated Birthday, lovely. Here's to your year of self-reflection and many more years of joy and exploration to come. 🥂🫶
