@Flutterbug9 I sometimes forget to tag people too and then have to edit my post after to do so 😅. we're not alone lol.
Was today any better on the GI and other side effects?
I am glad you were able to sleep in this morning. 🙂

wont surprise me about the photos of your dogs. From the photos you have shared they are gorgeous.
how do you feel about possibility lots of people have their photo?
If my dogs bring others a spark of joy, that's a good thing.
At first on here I didn't post pictures of my dogs because they are unusual and as a pair very distinctive. But over time I felt more comfortable, and also am at a place in myself and my life currently where I honestly wouldn't care if people recognised my dogs and put "two and two together".

constant changes I had to “get used to” at work. Used to take me awhile to adapt, either that or end up feeling overwhelmed due to having to help other staff understand things.
im really struggling with trying to work out meanings and/or emotions behind written words. Last few days have seen me replying to fb message from a friend asking what the message means. To my friend it seemed logical and easy to understand which hasn’t helped me and how I’m feeling.
I know we've chatted before about both of us having some autistic-like traits (from whatever cause/reason) -- to me, these are quite relatable in that category too 😛. Communication can be so frustrating when its hard to understand or "read" what people mean, and always second-guessing "do they mean that? or do they mean something else?" or "I have no clue what they are referring to -- did they forget to put in the context?"
And sometimes people do forget to add the required context 😅 (I have a few friends who do this, and my dad does this sooo often). I recently read that autistic people often add too much context/background/detail because of not knowing how much people know or don't know and the difficulties with communication/understanding if not enough context is given. When I read that, I related to it so much!
These days if I don't understand why a friend is telling me something in a private message chat (or I don't understand what they mean) I send a "?" response 😅. I have one friend in particular that I do this to at least once a week. It gives them the prompt to expand/explain more lol (they are also ND; they accept this as my way of asking for more info/context).
How does your friend respond to you asking what they meant?

with having to contact my GPs admin and chase up progress of GPCCMP, which was going to be emailed to me no later than Sunday, is adding to frustration. 3rd time since early December I’ve had to chase up things related to referrals. First one incorrect wording used which resulted in referral being rejected and having to be done again. Other 2 I didn’t receive via email, as I was told I would. Is semi temping to look for new GP, issue is small number of GPs in my area are, or have recently, no longer working ie retired. One friend of mine has been advised by their GP of date of retirement and that patients will need to get new GP. One of my croquet team enquired about transferring to my GP and was told there currently is approx 6mth wait. I could apply to transfer back to where I used to go. quite a distance to drive, is a medical centre where almost impossible to see same GP twice in a row (something I dont like) plus referrals to specialists thst should have bern done in the 10+ yrs going there were never done.
Ack ,that is so frustrating that they didn't send the emails when they said they would. I remember when they put the wrong wording on the referral and it needed to be redone. I get very frustrated too when businesses/services don't do what they said they will do by the time they said they will. Causes me stress to then have to 'add it to my plate' to follow up.
Wow, a 6 month wait for the GP? And they're not a special-interest GP either? Yikes! Do they have a really good reputation in the area? Or that is a common wait time for any GP in the region due to shortages?
I can understand why you are considering changing GPs though, with the frustrations around the referrals.
I'm on a waitlist for a recommended GP practice. There are 3 GPs that work there, and they do longer-appointments with a focus on chronic health conditions and a wholistic view of health. But all 3 have no availability for new patients, and there is not given timeframe for it either. The MH-specific GP I'm now seeing recommended them. I had to wait for 2 months for the MH GP (it was going to be 3 months, but I got lucky and got a cancellation appt sooner!) too. The hardest things with GPs in my area is usually not getting the first appointment, it's when you need an unplanned appointment within less than 3 days. I had an ear infection once (and needed antibiotics) and I called 5 different multi-GP clinics and none of them could get me in that day even for a quick 5min appointment just for confirming ear infection & prescribing antibiotics. Thankfully my region had the equivalent of 'urgent care clinics' so I could go to the walk-in instead and be seen by the nurses there and get antibiotics that afternoon.

with both of us having things we do each week, you supporting people on the forums plus our respective health aspects, wondering you’re thoughts of us chatting maybe once a week
Thats fine with me, I don't mind if you only respond once a week. 😊 It is very important for you also to be engaging with non-forum life, building new connections with your new activities, and also have time for rest and yourself.
You've probably noticed that my own pattern of when I am online or for how long varies greatly day to day and week to week. I don't feel any pressure to respond within any time frame, and I don't expect others to either. 🤗 I make sure the forum fits around the rest of my life, and it doesn't run my life. Just like I don't let my mobile phone run my life either when I get messages. 😋.
