I'm staying here in Melbs this year as it's been a really busy year for me and I just want to relax at home and catch up with some chores around my apartment. Mum is considering coming to visit me in early January which will be nice if we can pull it off. I'm really looking forward to having some time off for a few weeks,

But then we are going to D1 for early Christmas dinner at her place as she will be at her inlaw for Christmas

@Blackcloud, that sounds like an amazing achievement! It can sometimes feel like a mountain just going out to engage in leisure things when we don't feel our best. However, I am hoping bowling with your support worker gave you a sense of achievement and productivity, ultimately leading to a future increase in wellbeing.

I will be celebrating Christmas, we usually spread it over two days as one side of my family comes from multiple parts of the state. So it allows for a bit of calm 😌

going out anywhere with my support worker, whether it'd be bowling or going to the movies has always given me a sense of achievement and productivity, especially with the wellbeing side of things and I'm grateful for that! 😊

it kinda sucks that I currently have quite a low balance on my core funding in my NDIS funding left remaining, but I am gonna be having an appointment with the tribunal next year on March. Hopefully by then the NDIS will approve the decision of the appeal I made and add the more funding onto my NDIS portal by then 🙂

I don't celebrate Christmas, so I'm pretty much just gonna be at home chilling and it's very much just another regular day for me. Sounds like it's gonna be a great time for you though!

@Blackcloud aww love it - did you get any spares/strikes? I haven't been bowling in forever, I think the last time I did I was young enough to be allowed to put the gutter rails out 😂

@Shaz51 is it a choice you made, or just things didn't work out for celebrating? Do you mean you're not doing any events, or more like... no decorations? 😅 I don't typically put up decorations myself, but maybe that's cos my house already has a lot of decor/knick knacks around 😝

@Jynx we did 4 rounds in total - I only got 1 strike throughout all of those rounds, whereas my support worker had a couple of strikes within the last round which is interesting hehe. but what's interesting is that I needed the bumpers whereas my support worker didn't need the bumpers cause obviously I haven't played bowling before, and this one is my second time doing bowling with her overall.

I'm pretty sure during our last bowling session, I had a couple of strikes throughout the whole of 4 rounds.

Currently on holiday in the Blue Mountains. Does anyone else has travel rituals? We've been going away every year for Christmas now and it's expected. Sometimes I can't handle these expectations.
