@REDLINEZ750 I'm trying to make my own little space. Sometimes I realize there is no personal space on here. I know it's for our good but it kinda sucks at times! Are you okay?

Yes, I feel that way about people I am close to and love. Of course we do. The dance of closeness and distance and space reminds me of a Rumi poem.
Like trees we need enough space from above for sunlight and from below for nourishment from the soil.

Struggling with these issues very much at the moment. Needing quiet time and space, but not wanting to get too isolated again.
Sending warmth and good wishes to you all.

Aww @AlwaysMyself I just wrote you the longest post that disappeared when I posted it!! I'm so pissed off about it! I haven't got it in me to start again! 😔 It was just a wish that you would see the post, but I didn't expect you to respond. I knew you were having a break and haven't been on for a few months. You also asked not to be tagged but I did, and you replied anyway. Thank you so much! You make a lot of sense to me and have a calming effect on my nervous system! I have taken on board what you've said and will try to practise looking after my own needs and maintaining my emotional limitations. It is hard when I was taught to put others before myself. I have expectations regarding our friendship which is ridiculous atm. I also don't want to put any added pressure on them by expecting anything. I feel selfish having needs and sad that they can't be met by my friend atm. People can only give so much before mental health takes a battering. Thanks again for replying AlwaysMyself! Love you, my friend. 💜

@heartathome walking away is not something I did lightly but when it comes to your own mental health you really have to consider whether draining yourself emotionally will help or hinder your friend.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do for both of you is to take a step back.
I also take it to God for guidance xo

Evening @heartathome, how’s your day been? I can’t believe you saw dolphins the other day and that cool little fluffy bird paired with your awesome sunrise sunrises ☀️
It sounds like your friends is really in the thick of it re her challenges.
I definitely get re grieving for the friendship you have had. It makes a lot of sense.
wow that is amazing re your partner, he literally just ‘bounced back’ didn’t he. Quite amazing really. So lovely of you to go and support him when he was so unwell, it would have definitely taken a toll on you though, as good as it was for him to have that support.
What’s on for your week ahead? Lovely chatting sorry for the delay x

I've been doing some reflecting today and have realised that a lot of my anxiety seems to come from feeling that I'm too needy or a burden, especially when someone is important to me.
I worry that needing reassurance or wanting contact will make me a burden to them, even when they haven't actually said that.
I believe this fear comes more from my past than from what's happening in the present, and it's something I'm trying to work through.
Today I'm simply acknowledging that this is something I struggle with. 💜

@heartathome that's a big thing to acknowledge. Go gently and be kind to yourself. I understand how you feel, it's a heavy weight to bear. Praying that you are able to see the real you, that you are not a burden, but a valued person and friend xo

Hello wise owl.
I related to your realisation.
I struggle with anxiety also - I'm only just realising how much.

Good morning @Realness
Anxiety sucks, hey! It's not easy to always see the underlying cause. Congratulations for passing your theology exam!! My son watched the sunrise with me this morning (through my phone), which is always nice. I have my psychiatrist appointment this morning and will talk to him about my sleep. I really hope you have a good day, my friend! Much love 💚
