@REDLINEZ750 I'm trying to make my own little space. Sometimes I realize there is no personal space on here. I know it's for our good but it kinda sucks at times! Are you okay?

Hi @heartathome ,
Take care, my friend. I think it's often the case we are strong during the emergency and then start to shake and feel overwhelmed when things start to settle. I'm thinking of you and praying.

More great news about my partner!
The traceotomy has been removed today and he's speaking well. All going well the nose feed will come out (not sure when but soon) and he should be transferred to a ward early next week. Mobility is a challenge for him atm but he's doing well! He will definately need rehab after hospital. I'll probably be here for another couple of weeks before heading back home! I feel very relieved and thankful! Thankyou for all the support, good wishes and especially prayers! I feel like I've witnessed a miracle 🙏

Evening @heartathome 🙏, how’s your evening going? Wow what such good news about his tracheostomy being taken out, he really is coming along in his recovery isn’t he. You really have seen a miracle hey, life is so fragile right.
it’s also lovely to hear he is a lot more alert and smiling, it would be so so good to see. 💛

Hello @Chasingsunsets
I'm feeling pretty good tonight. I've been numb for weeks and finally broke down the other night. Once I could see that he was going to survive, my emotions caught up with me. I'm still physically and emotionally tired as I haven't been sleeping well for a while now. It's the next discussion I'll have with my psych.
I hope you've been okay. Sending love and light! 💚

Dear @heartathome It is really good your partner received the help he needed and he had YOU by him throughout his ordeal.
Yes, you are a strong woman. Its amazing how deep we go to find strength and courage.
I have been flat out with my own stuff, and not logging onto the forums much. I am so glad there has been lots of support for you on your thread. Great seeing you on the highlight thread too.

Hey @Bunniekins I'm coping well now that he's off the critical list and improving everyday. He'll be moved to a ward this week and is already complaining about being in hospital and wanting to go home. I did warn the speech pathologist that once he can talk, watch out! 😆 He's annoyed that he can't walk but is grateful to be alive. I've got meds for another fortnight here and am planning to return home after that. 💚
