@REDLINEZ750 I'm trying to make my own little space. Sometimes I realize there is no personal space on here. I know it's for our good but it kinda sucks at times! Are you okay?

Oh that’s ok my friend @heartathome, I have been thinking of you 😊. I am glad you are feeling strong despite everything going on. I am so glad you are heading to the beach and grabbing a coffee, it sounds like a lovely start to your morning and day ahead 🙏. I am sure your partner would be so thankful that you are visiting him 💛

Thank you both for dropping in to show your support! The speech pathologist is going to try and get him to talk today with the tracheotomy. I hope to hear him say something. They will only do it for a few minues because it's so tiring for him. They will monitor his oxygen levels while they do it. 💜

My morning with my partner
He has had his wound cleaned and they are very happy with it!
He has reluctantly allowed his mouth cleaned today which is good. He's had a bath. They are about to change the trachi and feed tube dressings. Waiting for speech pathologist. I played Starry starry night for him. He smiled big. He's more alert atm.
Speaking valve in. He thanked the nurses and said he wants to go home. Physio is here atm. Physio have him sitting up in a chair today. I'm having lunch while he's going to the toilet. He was even more alert this morning but is pretty well exhausted now.
He wants to use a pan for a bowel movement which is great, so I've said my goodbyes for today. They still had the speaking valve in when I came back after lunch so he was still able to talk and tell them what he wanted. ❤️
