i dont think i can deal with any more @Zoe7

i really need abreak from my own life. i dont knwo where ive gone wrong but im failing in every aspect of life and i dont know when the train will be on the righ track again. i dont even know if being on the right track is worth it anymore.

maybe i should quit while im behind 😞

No, please don't quit. I get what you're saying - I've been there. I thank my lucky stars that I am still here. I would have missed out on a lot.

My psychologist challenged me once when I wasn't going well. She asked me is this it? Is this where I want to leave it? I thought she was being really rude at the time. But I didn't want to leave it there I wanted to experience more and do more.

Things are tough right now and it totally sucks. It's horrible but keep going. Do something everyday that you want to do, however small. A walk, tv, internet, a coffee. It made me feel a lot better about myself. Keep talking, we are all ears and there is a lot of us.

I really like what @Phoenix_Rising said about doing the best you can what what you have and that being important to recognise, even if it goes unappreciated by others. Again, still working on it myself, but being kind to yourself is a huge part of this battle.

@Former-Member You are 20 years old - a 'grown up' by age maybe but not necessarily the way you feel - you are still dealing with issues as a child - so don't put so much pressure on yourself. One thing I can say is that the stuff that you are dealing with you do not 'just get over' - you need support and help to navigate your way through and learn to cope with. You deserve nurturing, compassion and love. You also deserve caring and supportive people around you to help you do all this.

I dont think so @Former-Member
My head is so screwed up i can't believe its still there.
Yea i deal with trauma as well as gad and depression and alot if physical issues

@mrkotter
I get what your psychologist means when she says that. I find it very hard to enjoy anything any more

@Zoe7 you dont have to worry about me

Re: such a failure :(

I completely agree with Zoe in that you don't just 'get over' this stuff. I would also like to add that @Former-Member, you are actually taking huge steps towards 'getting over it' (which I prefer to think of as learning to cope with it, making positive changes in your life, recovering from something awful happening... etc.) by reaching out, going to appointments, engaging with support services etc. So I actually think you are trying to 'get over it' already.

Re: such a failure :(

I don't HAVE to care for you @Former-Member - I choose to care for you because I want to and I can see the good in you What kind of things do you like doing @Former-Member - drawing, cooking, sport etc. List three things for me.
