Through One's Eyes

I have started this new thread for others to share and enjoy The World of Art. The title is a reflection on the many different views and ways of seeing art that is very subjective to the viewer.

Anyone can share a piece they have produced, are working on or would like to one day 'get around to doing'.

Many 'forumites' use art as a form of therapy or grounding/coping strategies - so please also share your experiences of these also.

It is also a place to discuss what people like, dislike are drawn to and the feelings ellicited from producing and viewing any pieces.

Feel free to add images or topics of discussion and enjoy the wonderful world that we can share through Art.

I love cake art ..... and I love cars too, incidentally .....

Hi @Catcakes ☺ I wanted to post something to you here after the chat on the intro thread with @Faith-and-Hope. The 'art gene skipped a generation with me, but I do really like craft (anything) and I read you do also. What type of craft do you enjoy? Crochet is my favourite. This is a blanket I finished earlier this year.

It was mostly a mash up of colours I had available to me at the time and I enjoyed it so much, I started another which I'm not hugely far off finishing. The second one is in colours I carefully chose and really wanted to use, so I love it. I haven't got a recent photo of it but will take one when I can.

Okay, thanks @Maggie, got it now. I will post my latest pic here, where its meant to be. Since I was really only trialing how to get pics up when I posted to the Taking the Plunge thread. So lets see how I go now with getting a couple of other pics in. Something I tried to do some time ago, but failed. Oh and @Former-Member, you said you were interested in seeing some of my artworks, so I am tagging you in here too. Along with @Zoe7 @Former-Member @CheerBear @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Bunniekins @Former-Member. Please dont be too critical with my efforts.
