Through One's Eyes

I have started this new thread for others to share and enjoy The World of Art. The title is a reflection on the many different views and ways of seeing art that is very subjective to the viewer.

Anyone can share a piece they have produced, are working on or would like to one day 'get around to doing'.

Many 'forumites' use art as a form of therapy or grounding/coping strategies - so please also share your experiences of these also.

It is also a place to discuss what people like, dislike are drawn to and the feelings ellicited from producing and viewing any pieces.

Feel free to add images or topics of discussion and enjoy the wonderful world that we can share through Art.

Yes @Faith-and-Hope, love birds. Just replied to @Adge's good news on 'Bird Therapy Thread' My birds are much happier separated (finches & Bourke's birds ), those finches remind me of mice running around, they never stop 🙂

I love art too. Mostly I like oil painting but we moved a few months ago and I haven’t yet set up a space for painting. I also like to draw and do crafts.

Oil painting is my no.1 go-to @Catcakes, but not always possible for me to set up. We are moving about a lot at the moment.

Last year I branched into acrylics on watercolour paper, which have come up nicely, and I have used chalk pastels a lot in the past. Watercolour pencils are new to me, and I am adding ink pen in as well.

Lovely to meet another artist ...... @Zoe7 is as well ..... and many others here have art as a hobby.
