~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

@Bunniekins I was told to put my phone in airplane mode so I dont get the siren. Do you know how to put your phone in airplane mode? It will prevent Ausalert from sending you a test alert

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@SmilingGecko yes but i also heard you have to leave it on areoplane mode for an hour at least. i am thinking i might just tough it out for the 10 secs how bad can it be ....

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

I did not know that, regarding leaving airplane mode on for an hour. Thanks for letting me know @Bunniekins I will keep it on all day

@SmilingGecko how awesome that the dress was still new with tags. Lunch sounds yummy 😋

@MissGremlin will have to take it to alterations to have a light tear fixed. Dont know if the washing machine did it or not but the fabric came out of the wash with a tiny frayed seam that could get larger in future. So will get onto it. Its a lovely dress though. Did not cook lunch got bogged down doing other things around the house. Heated up a fritatta. May make it for dinner. Not enough hours in one day

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@SmilingGecko oh no, hopefully it's an easy fix. A fritatta sounds delicious. I agree there's definitely not enough hours in the day, but then the days drag on when you don't want them to 😂.

@MissGremlin just about to cook dinner. Getting motivated! lol Yes the dress should be ok will get it professionally fixed. Its quite cold this afternoon here in Melbourne. It was a warmer day though. Feeling the seasons shifting allready and its not even September. OK now cooking warmed salad.
