~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

Can someone please direct me on how to unfollow a thread? I don't want to receive every single message posted as it is disrupting me now.

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Thank you @MissGremlin my friend, I’ve been doing ok within this week so far. I guess you could say that I am trying to currently ‘work my way’ through where I’d like to head myself into in terms of potential career but also trying to participate in events a little more often with a support worker while I still have the ndis funding to get rid of these feelings I’ve been having for a while. I’d like to keep trying to put my foot into programs/places that require me to step out of my comfort zone in order to get some connections and even better, to keep me occupied to distract myself from these thoughts and feelings I’ve been having for a while - and hopefully have a support worker come with me instead of trying to attend on my own.

I’d like to hope that things may turn out for the better, even if it’s just by a bit. 🥲 🙏

@Blackcloud it sounds like you are doing great at planning things and working towards what you want sweet. I'm really proud of you for pushing through even when things have been hard and those thoughts and feelings have been there. You've got this sweet, keep going one little step at a time ❤️
