~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

@MissGremlin hi beautiful. My day is going good so far. I got a call from the ranger regarding the barking dogs which was good, I am hoping this second time around the neighbour does something about his horrid animals. I have never been a fan of small dogs (sorry to those who have them!) and these 3 are yappy and annoying. The knocked down a fence panel recently and got into my yard. Knocked down pots and chased my cat. The ranger let me know that if it happens again I can call them and they will deal with the dogs. While I really don't like how my council runs and charges, I have to say their rangers are top notch.

Went up to chemist to pick up HRT patches and got a frozen lasagne for dinner. While I am dealing with this head cold I don't want to have to prepare a meal from scratch.

I have been praying again for you darling heart, and got the message that when you are so far down you can only look up. I hope that this week gives you some bright moments to enjoy xoxo 💐❤️🫂

Hello @ENKELI sweetheart, glad it's been a good day for you do far. That's good that the council rangers made contact, hoping the neighbours actually do something about their dogs to avoid anything further happening. I had to deal with council rangers on Saturday after we helped catch a dog but unfortunately the dog was under a dangerous dog order and it got access to a cat which didn't end well, so the dog was seized pending an investigation. The council rangers here are hit and miss, we deal with them regularly as I work with a volunteer organisation helping to get lost pets home.

Well done for going to the chemist and lasagne is so yummy, a perfect dinner when you don't feel up for cooking 😋.

Thankyou beautiful, that's very true and I really hope they start looking up. I cancelled my inspection today as I simply couldn't manage it at the moment.

Sending love and hugs to you sweetheart, hope you're all better soon ❤️.
