~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

@SmilingGecko I'm sorry your house is getting unfit to live in, it's such a horrible position to be in. Sending you hugs sweet ❤️. Unfortunately I only actually have one friend that's in my state and living with them isn't an option. Thankyou for the beautiful and kind words and the prayers, it's very much appreciated. I've just finished talking to the last resort and they can't even help, I'm truly feeling so defeated right now. (I'm safe). It's heartbreaking how many people are actually in this situation 😞.

Hello @Sunnysideup, I'm in tears and I'm an absolute mess (I'm safe). Having connection here means everything to me, it at least makes me feel like I'm not alone right now.

Thankyou for the advice but unfortunately I've already tried them.

I'm aware of the services i can talk to but right now I'm ok just staying connected here.

Thankyou so much for your support ❤️

@Glisten I'm still yet to find the magic off switch to my brain, however if I do find it I'll gladly share it with you 😂.

I only had an hours sleep last night so today is just, well blah.

@MissGremlin I can understand your feelings honey. Its really unsettled on the ether at the moment. I just checked the astrology and we have a full moon lunar eclipse next week and the tension has allready been building. Its like a jacked up full moon on steroids. We had another eclipse about a week ago (they traditionally come in pairs) and the ancients believed the veils were especially thin around eclipse windows. I pulled out a piece of moonstone crystal last night to enable me to move through the ups and downs and it seems to be working, my emotions were extreme last night but had dissipated with the moonstone ❤️

@MissGremlin @SmilingGecko

you are both so deserving of better and I hope and pray things work out for you both. Life really does suck at times.

Like you Gecko, my place is falling apart and I need so much money to get it repaired. It's so hard for you both, either looking for a place or trying to maintain your house.

You're both in my thoughts and prayers my darling friends xoxo
