~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

Omg memories of professionals not doing their job properly ……….

with your next appointment can to speak to the psychiatrist like he’s a 4 year old and point out mistakes ?
this type of letters
helped me in the past but

I remember writing letter stating

You Mr or Mrs ………… your work has helped me or my exhusband 15% of my time here.
you - the social worker

Psychiatrist are incompetent.
your work has only displayed inefficient personal work leading to more hospitalizations and worse general health care where more medication and ……… that has affected 80% of my daily wellbeing.

you have - the social worker - have gathered information and acted on it 20%

efficiency.

that type of letters get their buts off the chair for 10 extra minutes.

@TAB i feel you on the no sleep. I only dozed off at 5.30am then woke up just after 6am. I've managed 2 hours sleep since then. I'm spending my day on my lounge, was hoping to watch a movie but my internet is down and I've been waiting on the phone for 28 minutes on hold to try to sort it out.

Hope you are getting some naps in today.
