Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

@Flutterbug9 Wonderful words of wisdom.

And do you know what? i absolutely agree with there is nothing wrong with feeling fragile! We sure can be, and i fully agree such needs us to have a sensitive, supportive, loving, nurturing caring mindset towards ourself, as well as safe surroundings, to be able deal with ourselves rightly in such a state of being. Full respect even for when we fragile we are at our most beautiful.

Having said that, i believe we should be VERY careful not to 'crown ourselves king fragile' so to speak. (A very serious mistake i made.)

Sadly i found this out for myself after hiding in my shell for many years, without seeking help. However it was impossible to move away from where i stood rooted. For i had crowned the feeling fragile as myself. Nevertheless there are so VERY much more things to say about us than fragile. And because i held onto the concept of fragile, from a negative, rather than a positive perspective. Therefore i missed out on so much of (potential good) life doing that.

i joked this seeing myself do this to myself freaking the elephants on the road going out one day, Doing that seemed to have broken the spell, and i have learned to enjoy go to people or places again without trepidation and feeling fragile and unable, and loving to be able to have all those other realities as my life again at such times.

However i had needed big time counseling to break free from my own perceptions of myself. Ongoing battle.😁
