Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

Yes, I got knocked down.

Truth is, I didn’t know if I could get back up..

And I didn’t even think I wanted to.

Then, I remembered who I am and what I’m capable of.

I’m a survivor.

I’m a fighter.

I’m a dreamer.

I’ve survived the worst of life and I’ve fought for everything I am.

I believe in the power of my dreams and I’ll not rest until I catch them.

I’d rather have five great friends than a hundred fake ones.

I keep my circle tight and my heart guarded, because I know my worth and I don’t just share it with anyone.

I’m there for anyone I love and I expect the same in return.

I don’t want just a lover, one night stand or lukewarm love.

I deserve and crave much more than that.

I’m holding out for passion, soul love and an authentic partnership.

I don’t need someone in my life and I love myself completely,

So anyone who wants to be in my life should be all the things that matter.

Respectful.

Loyal.

Real.

People may call me feisty, snobbish or sassy, but that’s just because they don’t try to understand me.

@PeppyPatti oh you poor darling. I bet you were in so much pain, and to be turned away from the hospital telling you there is nothing wrong is disgusting.

I am still recovering after having my gallbladder out just before Christmas. Apparently, I still had small stones in the cystic duct. The only complication was the blood loss from the cystic artery which required another surgeon to scrub in to control the blood loss.

I am nearly healed, just a few little pains here and there.

I hope your procedure goes ok, and they get rid of all those nasty stones. You will be in my thoughts.
