@Spirit_Healer ohhhh it's so rough losing a support like that - especially if we don't feel ready! It can also be a positive though, making way for new opportunities. I hope that they are super supportive and caring during the process! 🤞

I think it can be a problem as with any other addiction but as an ex-addict, my moderation button is broken. Everything is either all or nothing. I'm still working on moderation!

Trying to make friends at my age is not easy. I know I'm holding myself back because I like to be in my comfort zone, but I also want to put my toe in the water, so to speak. My volunteering is the only time I meet different people (who work out the back) I have one friend, but I don't believe it's healthy to burden her by putting all my eggs in her basket!

Do you think it's becoming a problem for you @Shaz51 ? No need to answer that! I think we are all 'workers' who understand, care, support and encourage each other along a pretty 'hairy' journey. This forum and you, Shaz51, you are always around the threads supporting everyone you can! I watch you. Your 'work' here is invaluable and much appreciated by many people, including me. It was you who tagged me (a newbie) into a Friday cuppa and I've powered on from there! Thanks, Shaz51💛
