Community centres!

What I do at one of the local community centres

• Craft group on a Monday
• Chiro on a Wednesday
• Various workshops that come up

They also run

• Tai Chi
• Zumba
• Yoga
• Walking groups

And more I don't know about

The staff are lovely and I've made friends and it gets me out and about plus I learn new skills!

I recently did a set of 3 nutrition+cooking workshops

• First was on heart health
• Second on bone health
• Third on label reading

We had the dietetic students come in and run the workshops as part of their practical assessments.

Chiro is final year students too

Bunnings comes in and do workshops too, I've made a terrarium before

Friday is my day off from work at the moment. I saw my MH worker today and she reminded me that I will be discharged from their service at the start of next year. 😮‍💨 She's been really helpful and taught me a lot about managing interpersonal stuff.

Other than that I've been well.

@ENKELI I know! Getting to know 'real life' people is a lot of hype I reckon! 😉 I think it's funny that a SANE worker is telling me to get off the SANE forum. She did say to have a break each day; to go for a walk or do something else. It hasn't worked yet! I'm waiting for some friends to 'just turn up to the door one day and ask me to do something so I can say, sorry, I'm busy at the moment! 😂
