@avant-garde maybe in your council but not in mine. There are plenty of free groups for parents and retirees but not for my age group. Not every council has free services and I don't have the money to be putting diesel in my car to go to another council or shire at the moment.

I have to go with @tyme in this. @Shaz51 is a wonderful, tireless worker. She too is an asset to our (not so!) little community, like Tymey and the other supports. xo

@Shaz51 I am glad that you made it through your day 😊 I slept all day, but I woke up at 5pm to a message on my phone telling me that I have an appointment at a medicine clinic on Monday at 1pm. After my stay in hospital last week, they have referred me to the clinic because they are not liking my liver levels. But i was told to wait for my appointment, and then get a blood test done, 2 days before hand. So obviously I now need to cancel this appoint.

And just the thought of going to his appointment is giving me anxiety. Because of my back issues, I don't know how, for one, I am going to be able to walk to the hospital from the car park, as it is not close, and two I have no idea where this clinic is located, so I am really going to struggle with being in agony trying to find it.

Apparently, this appointment was urgent, as they wanted me seen with 48 hours after my discharge from hospital. The doctor did say that they were concerned because the liver levels are constantly going up and down. But since having gallstone attacks affect the levels in the liver, surly that would explain why. I am assuming once the gallbladder is removed, the liver levels will stay constant. So, unless there is something else going on, I don't really see any reason to put myself through so much pain and anxiety to attend the appointment. Maybe when I ring up to cancel the appointment on Monday, I will share my view with the clinic and see what their response is.

@Mustang67 I hope you get resolution with this appointment business. I completely understand the anxiety and pain, I have back issues as well.
