Yeah too many penalties but our defence is holding up @MDT We do look like we will score everytime we get the ball though so that is positive. Having players off seem to be motivating them.

A night in won't do you any harm - especially if you are bored with staying at one place. That can get tedious - especially if it is the same people all the time and little to talk about.

Well its the big day in the NRL calendar today. Grand final day ... or I should say ...night. Dont know why they ever changed it to night time, I much preferred the 3pm afternoon kickoff.

So .... I'm expecting everyone, who isnt a rusted on Roosters fan, to be barracking for my Canberra Raiders tonight.

I am not holding onto too much expectation for them, as the Roosters are a fantastic team and have heaps of stars. But ... I do think the Raiders are a chance if they start well, kick well and do lose players to injury or sendoffs.

My fervent hope though is that its at least a close game and one the fans will enjoy. A nice tight, tough but fair, contest.

We dont want another walk-over like we got in the AFL grand final last weekend. Even though my preferred team, Tigers, got up there ... it must have been a disappointing spectacle for the fans who attended, from both sides.

So ... go Raiders ... play hard, play well ... but most importantly play fair. Then we fans all have a reason to be proud of your efforts this year.

Good to see the Ra Ra's win too ... a big win by the Wallabies. But can they still progress from the pool stages of the World Cup? Perhaps the bonus point will get them there, provided they win their remaining pool match.

Hi @Former-Member @Zoe7 @MDT @Ant7 @Gazza75 and all sports fans here. I’m cheering on the Raiders tonight as I don’t want the Roosters to win since they beat my Storm last year. Go the green machine! I’m also cheering on Ash Barty and John Millman in the tennis finals- Ash should be okay but John has a tough battle up against Novak.

Ahhh good on you @Judi9877 for going for the Raiders. Aww .. sorry your Storm never made it through. Disappointing no doubt, when they were clearly the leaders at the end of the home and away matches. But finishing top doesnt always translate to making it to the grand final.

Oh yes, I too am hoping that Ash Barty can conjure up a win in the final. And John Millman did so well to make it through as he has. He's a very good consistent player and deserves the success he's experienced over the past year or so. He's worked long and hard to get there. Novak is a tough opponent, classy play, but not unbeatable of late. Yep, definitely will be cheering them both on.
